As phase 3 comes to a conclusion, I look back and am proud to have made it this far. Progressing through Flatiron, I’ve gained more confidence in the work I do and myself. The journey continues, from CLI to Sinatra!

Being this was my first try at creating a Sinatra Ruby application using CRUD, I was elated. Picking a concept for my application was by far the most challenging part of the project itself. Through lengthy deliberation with my mind, I decided to create an application that would allow a user to post an image of their plant along with a post. The first step in creating my CLI project was to decide what type of API I wanted to use. In the beginning, I was interested in using an API for horoscopes. As I researched further, I discovered that there were no free horoscope APIs available.
